As a result of Chair Burton’s resignation from the Halton Police Board, Vice-Chair Councillor Jeff Knoll will assume the role of acting Chair.
In response to concerns regarding Chief Tanner’s recent travel to the US, there will be a special board meeting held this Friday, January 15th. This meeting will be closed to the public, as permitted under the Police Services Act.
Chief Tanner has returned home and has begun his mandatory quarantine requirements.
